About Radial Engineering

A Workshop Built for Heavy Industry

We opened Radial Engineering in Hobart's northern suburbs in November 2016, and set the workshop up to handle heavy industrial work in one place. Horizontal boring and radial drilling cover the large-component jobs, while general machining and metal fabrication take care of one-off parts, replacement components and complete assemblies. Our specialised welding handles repairs on parts that are difficult to weld or costly to replace, and our hydraulic cylinder repairs keep machinery working instead of waiting on a new unit. Mechanical and civil engineering consulting sits alongside the workshop for jobs needing assessment first, and we supply skilled trades labour hire when a site is short-handed. If you're weighing up whether a component is worth repairing, get in touch and we'll give you a straight answer.
